Will Google Bring Back Google Authorship?” by Mark Traphagen on Moz blog. As you know, Google stopped supporting the authorship feature in August 2014.

Previously this feature worked only if you had linked your blog with Google+ page and if you were a trusted author. According to some researches, it helped to get more clicks because the snippet looked better in search results with the author picture.

Gary Illyes on SMX East conference mentioned that Google authorship is not dead completely. But does this mean that we should expect to see it again in Google search results in near future?

The author of this article says that he does not think so. Because

  • Illyes made no promise
  • It ain’t broke so…
  • The reasons why Authorship was killed still remain

Twitter Publish: Twitter’s New Tool For Embedding Tweets” by Martin Beck on marketing Land blog. Embedded Grid is a new tool that can provide a much more visual look to your tweets. This feature was introduced on official Twitter blog and it helps people create better-looking embedded stories from the raw materials of Twitter.

I have to say it looks very nice. Will see if such tweets become very popular.

“We have big plans for this new tool. We want it to be a one stop shop where you can easily preview all of the different types of displays we offer in Twitter Kit and grab the embed code for any Twitter content you’d like to publish.”

Reveal-based Content: Consumers always want what they can’t touch, see or hear. Discounts or coupons are good examples of such content.

Quizzes: You can see hundreds of different quizzes when you login to Facebook but they still could be useful if they have been written in an informative manner.

Branded Web Series: Take your videos to the next level with a branded web series that includes multi-episode narratives rather than just a one-off short video.
