PHP Link Directory, popularly know as PHPLD is a leading web directory script, it was created by David DuVal of NetCreated. Recently Temi Odurinde has been interviewing prominent players in the web directory industry, including webmasters, web directory operators and of course the people like David DuVal, who make creating a web directory easy with scripts such as PHPLD.
David answered all the sensible questions Temi Odurinde put to him (via email), being the ridiculous guy Temi is, after David DuVal answered all the sensible and serious questions such as issues about PHPLD, web directory and other stuff, Temi then put the “fun questions” David, silly questions such as “what you will do if you are the president of Cybeland” but David has a good sense of humour as he answered the fun questions

Temi Odurinde – If the Internet was to have a President and you were elected President of the net, what changes would you make on your first day in office?David DuVal – I don’t think I would accept that office. Too much stress.
Temi Odurinde – What are your top five favourite sites?
David DuVal – www.dance-forums.com, www.phplinkdirectory.com, www.youtube.com, www.digg.com, www.slashdot.com
Temi Odurinde – Take out your Crystal ball, give us a snap shot of how you see your segment of the online world evolving.
David DuVal – Larger directories will become portals like Yahoo. Yahoo started much like a base installation of phpLD.
Temi Odurinde – How many cups of coffee do you drink a day?
David DuVal – Only 2. That is all the caffeine I drink.
Temi Odurinde – What is your favourite Music?
David DuVal – Ballroom dance music, especially Waltz, Cha Cha, Foxtrot and Tango.
Temi Odurinde – Who or what do you find inspirational?
David DuVal – My grandfather who helped me get a more positive attitude during some trying times. In one letter he sent this:

T – Tolerance – people are different, but you have to be empathetic and try to understand what makes them the way they are
I – Integrity – you will encounter lots of people that took a “shortcut to success”, but over time it will be honesty that insures you live a successful and gratifying life.
G - Generosity – when you can give of yourself without focusing on the return, but just do it because you want to help, you will receive far more than you ever imagined, but it might not be exactly the way you thought it might be
E – Enthusiasm – it’s easy to have a good day, but it is the people that can find enthusiasm within them even during the downtimes that will be able to live life to the fullest
R - Respect – you can’t change everyone, but you can give respect to them. Just be alive comes with all kinds of stresses, and we should respect people, as well as be empathetic to the way they have learned to think about life and the World, by doing our best to understand them.
