One of the most interesting discussion at UK webmaster forums on the subject of web hosting is one raised by user Maxseo who was thinking of doing his own web hosting from his home.

Technically this is quite very easy, but other members of UK WW pointed out difficulties associated with hosting your own server via broadband access from a standard broadband internet connection.
