Unremarkable Unimaginative on your browser – Bid for Placement Directory

April 15, 2007 · Print This Article

A famous architect was asked to name the part of London he considers to be the worst, he choose the buildings along North Circular road and uses very colourful language to described what make those building the ugliest building in London.
Among the unflattering description that read like a poem, the most memorable of the words were:  “each of the housed were built side by side, each as unremarkable as the next, it must have been created by unimaginative people, on a bad day”.

These unflattering words came rushing back to me consciousness when I saw my fifth bid for position web directory. The above quotation described the directories accurately, the only thing I would add is the owners of the directories were probably having and even worst day than the architect that created the eye sores on North Circular road.

Lots of respect is due to the original creator of the concept, it is mainly the copycats who are bastardising the concept with their cheap and crass copy bid for position directory.

But the craze is spreading as more and more carpetbaggers buys a clone of the script that powers the first of the Bid for Position sites, sadly, more and more of this unremarkable, unimaginative sites are spreading like virus and its coming to a browser on your PC soon or late.
