What sort of people do they help?

This charity provides sustainable access to safe water in the communities in rural Uganda. This African country has a dry climate and the majority of water resources lack sanitation. More than 80% of Uganda citizens live in rural areas where safe water coverage is much lower.

How do they help the people?

This charity organisation begins with the source water installation. Their primary goal is to find such places for the water source where people will not come into contact with bacteria. As the previous charity, they work with these 3 elements:

  1. They work under construction of a safe water source. This can be done in different ways so we will not be talking much about this.
  2. The climate of the country is dry and it means that there are many different bacteria. Each community must be careful with that by avoiding open defecation.
  3. Since not everyone in Uganda has access to clean water, such simple steps as hand washing can help to ensure that the safe water is collected.

How can you support them?

There are 3 different ways to support them. You may send a text WASH15 £5 to 70070, click donate button on their site directly http://www.busogatrust.co.uk/donate/ or use a contact form for postal and transfer donations.
