Twitter hacked and defaced

It is quite interesting that a site like Twitter could be hacked and defaced like it was reported to have been done this morning. Some crackers calling themselves IRANIAN CYBER ARMY were said to have hacked twitter homepage and posted the message below:
Iranian Cyber Army THIS SITE HAS BEEN HACKED BY IRANIAN CYBER ARMY

U.S.A. Think They Controlling And Managing Internet By Their Access, But THey Don’t, We Control And Manage Internet By Our Power, So Do Not Try To Stimulation Iranian Peoples To….
NOW WHICH COUNTRY IN EMBARGO LIST? IRAN? USA?
WE PUSH THEM IN EMBARGO LIST

A few hours ago when I tried to follow a twitter user I was unable to, this was probably when the hacking was in progress. Some people claimed the hackers did not actually hack into twitter homepage but their domain name was hijacked and pointed to another url. Anyway, whatever really happen, twitter is back to normal at the time this post was being published.
