Tucows offering free .info WHOIS Privacy

One of the most interesting services offered by domain name registry is the so called whois privacy. If you have whois privacy on your domainsit means you will be spared from you private details you are required to give when registering a domain name will be withheld from whois outputdisplayed on your domain name. I have never understood the need for this information to be displayed in the first place since the onlypeople who are usually interested in this are spammers who harvest people’s details and bombarded then with unsolicited mail.
Anyway, Tucows are offering this service through their reseller on .info domain name for free from 1 March 2006 until 31 December 2006. If you registered
your domain name through a Tucows reseller you may be able to get a free whois privacy services for one year free.
