The Vodafone 710 is the first UMTS phone to be marketed by Vodafone under its own brand name. The phone’s design and function are optimised for the use of Vodafone services, enabling simple operation. It is the first product of a strategic joint venture with the Chinese manufacturer, Huawei Technology, that started out seven months ago.

The Vodafone 710 is an elegant black clamshell phone with a 1.3 megapixel CMOS digital camera. It supports the attractive Vodafone live! UMTS services, MobileTV, VideoTelephony, MusicDownloads and Radio DJ.

The inexpensive Vodafone 710 will be on sale at retail outlets in the next few weeks.
