Webmasters and link builders use various creative ways to obtain SEO friendly links to their site, quite a lot of this way are sneaky which mean as soon as site owners discover that links are being obtained from them through the back door they close the loophole. Some of the popular ways of obtaining links sneakily includes forum signature and forum posting at dofollow forums, commenting on dofollow blogs and so on.
This article look into another link building technique called Link Wheel (also known as a Social Media Link Wheel when you use social media sites to develop the Link Wheel). Link Wheel is basically building several mini niche websites mostly using hosted blogs, linking the sites together and then harvesting links from the mini website to boost your principal site.
As the saying goes, pictures says a thousand words hence this article will not go into the complexity of how the link should be arrange but instead point you to the image on this article which shows how the sites should link to each other with the principal site you want to boost getting one way link from most sites.
The Link Wheel configuration in the attached diagram is not necessarily the best way, there are a number of other ways to set the link Wheel up, the most important thing is that you point links from the mini sites to the principal site and you link most of the mini sites to one another and get external links to point to the mini sites.
Free hosted blog website such as WordPress and other like is is recommended for the mini sites for two main reasons; to reduce the cost of creating your mini site and the fact that the principal domain is already trusted by search engines.
You should pay attention to the quality of the contents of the mini site, you should take the time to create and post quality article on the mini sites, if you do not do this, links harvested from the mini site will be useless.

October 22, 2008
A little bit of lateral thinking can help you get more traffic to you site, as a matter of fact, not just slight traffic but huge significant traffic. As we all know there are hundreds if not thousands of websites competition for the same keywords, most of them chasing after the same premium keyword that is most popular for their niche, there is not thing wrong with this, its just that using the so called long tailed keywords, you can actually generate much more traffic because you face stiffer competition for this keywords.
An excellent article about long tailed keywords was posted on Boss Cart ecommerce shopping software website, excerpts and link to the article follows:
There might be 1000 web sites or more just like yours on the internet. So how
do you compete? The “big guys” dominate the search engines, and you might
find it hard to get into the first 20 pages. Many internet users won’t look beyond
the first page of the internet search, almost none look beyond the second or third
Pages. Again, how do you compete? By knowing something that the “big guys”
don’t. Enter the long tail.

Site Indexation
March 26, 2007
Websites are effective methods of popularizing products and services offered by various companies. Mere creation of attractive and informative websites is not enough and one has to promote the website to attract appropriate and adequate traffic towards the site. One of the possible ways to promote a website is to enlist the web page with a search engine. Just as a phone number should be listed in the local telephone directory, so also, pages of a website has to be indexed with a search engine to attract the right amount of visitors and enhance one’s business.
Promoting a site with a search engine is an ongoing process and the first step is indexation. Indexation of a website means that the website is visited by various search engines, which then analyze the contents of your site and then list it in their databases under the appropriate category. Inclusion of your website in a search engine’s database is very important for attracting the correct visitors both in terms of quality as well as quantity and this ultimately results in increasing business opportunities. In other words, indexation means that when someone does a search then your website would be considered if it was indexed with the search engine.
