MillionDollarPage was a big success for being original and new. The concept of selling pixel spaced for money was never successful for thousands of copy cats that tried to piggyback on the success of MillionDollarPage, however the MillionDollar concept has been applied to other web ventures with varying degree of success, there is the MillionDollarWiki and other semi original variation of the MillionDollar concept.

The concept was recently applied to blogging for the first time by Marius Loredan, the creator of MillionBlogs. Marius refrain from adding money to his venture so the site is called MillionBlogs rather than MillionDollarBlogs, or would it be MillionPoundBlogs because Marius is a London based Internet entrepreneur.

How did Marius come about this concept?  “I have spent a few nights thinking of buy a page for myself to promote my business. Then I come up with this idea - MillionBlogs. A page is only a page, it will be indexed only once by search engines, how much info can you add to a single page? How can you run a business from only a single page? but with a blog site, you can add a lot of information”
