“Building Links With Images: Where To Start And How To Automate It?” by Benjamin Beck on Ahrefs blog. It is true that not many people pay much attention to getting links with images. But, in fact, many of your pictures may be used on other blogs without your permission. When this happens, you just need to get in touch with site owner and ask him to link that image to your site since the image belongs to you. Can You Rank in Google Without Links? New Data Says Slim Chance” by Cyrus Shepard on Moz blog. After all Google algorithms and updates like Panda or Penguin, many webmasters started to work very carefully with their link building strategy. I know some of them who even completely stopped doing any link building. In this Moz’s study were analysed the top 50 Google search results for approximately 15,000 keywords.

The results are the following: 99% of all top 50 results had at least one external link pointing to the website. 77.8% of top results had at least one external link pointing to the page.

How Much Backlink Data Do You Really Need?” by Scott Stouffer at Search Engine Journal. Until November 18th, 2011, everyone in the SEO world was using Yahoo Explorer. It was a very good and free tool for backlinks analysing.

Today webmasters are using tools like Majestic SEO, Moz Open Explorer and others. On the other hand, it is also very important for webmasters to get more data such as fresh links, anchor percentage, domain trust, etc.

Scott has written a very good post where you can find many backlink metrics using Moz Open Exploere.

12 elements of a user-friendly blog page” by Jack Simpson for Econsultancy blog. We all know how user-friendly interface is important and, in this post, Jack shared 12 of the most important elements that each good blog page should have:

  1. Use subheadings
  2. Create white space
  3. Use bullet points
  4. Use imagery
  5. Include internal links
  6. Highlight key points
  7. Don’t use silly fonts
  8. Include sharing buttons
  9. Allow comments
  10. Go easy on the acronyms
  11. Keep your language simple
  12. Finally: be yourself

Everything sounds very easy but, at the same time, those bloggers who following such simple rules are always on top.

5 PPC Tips from ClickZ Live Toronto” by Mike O’Brien at Search Engine Watch blog. I can’t say that I found something new for me, personally, in this post by Mike, but everything he described is very important for a successful PPC campaign:

Having clear goals – You must know exactly what the main goal of your campaign is: purchase, registration, subscribing, etc.

You must think like a customer – For this, I recommend you [not Mike :D] ask your friends to visit your landing page to see what elements must be improved or completely removed.

Diversify your keywords – More keywords mean more traffic. Think about those keywords that can bring you more conversions.

Forecast – Before launching a campaign, think about what it can give to you

And the finale one – Keep it simple. Don’t use difficult language.

There you have the best posts, in my opinion, for the month of June 2015. I hope you liked them, too! Please share your comments below or contact me via this form or via my Twitter account.
