Copyright CopyWrong and other issues
Now and again, discussions in a forum gets heated, especially when the issue in question is sort of legal. The issue that got things heated at UK Webmaster Forums in the last few days was copyright. Two senior members Old Welsh Guy and Midlandi have a different interpretation of what constitutes copyright and how it should be approached.
I know even the lawyers and the law lords usually interpret the same laws differently, but this discussion does raises important question about copyright, a definition for it can be found here: but as we know, laws are not universal, the interpretation in UK will be different from the interpretation in Australia for example.
I think it is important that webmasters are aware of copyright and respect them to prevent them getting those nasty letters from legal departments usually of bigger companies.
