Choosing the right plugins for an autoblog
September 9, 2010 · Print This Article
As a personal experience, the two plugins I took a good look upon were the ones provided by wprobot.net and autoblogged.com. Each has its advantages and disadvantages, however wprobot seems to offer much more than the second one. While autoblogged.com software only allows RSS feeds to be added as content, wprobot offers a wide range of features, for less money. For 30$ you get a WordPress plugin that make the autoblogging a piece of cake, for unlimited websites. Moreover, along with the software the customer also gets for free a ClickBank module, a Twitter module, Shopzilla and Press release modules, so other 4 places to get content from an autoblog. However, each customer may add some paid modules for setting up their autoblogs, starting for example from $15 for Youtube module which ads Youtube videos to the blog to a much expensive Amazon module, for $40. Buying the wprobot with all the modules comes with a good discount, from $220 to $169 for the whole package.
On the other hand, the autoblogged plugin comes at $129 for multi-site license, but offers so few when faced with wprobot. Another advantage of wprobot would be the customisation feature, basically one can spend only $15 to get the medium version which can be used on 40 sites, that’s a great value for the money. Monetising the autoblog using wprobot is also much easier with Clickbank and CJ modules, as well as with Shopzilla module.
From this point, the work is 90% done. Just upload the plugin, tweak the settings, use how many times to post per day and from what websites and you are done. You now have a complete blog on auto-pilot that in time might become a good source for an income. A final thought : do not rely on a single autoblog as a « money-maker » but create as many as you can handle while with just one autoblog the earnings will stay at low levels.
