Top Level Domain names (TLD) are common, country level domain names (ccTLD) are very common. Dot LA (.LA) domain name is said to be most popular with Los Angeles businesses, but its available for businesses and individuals not based in LA to register. Many domain name reseller now offer .la domain name registration. The most successful .la reseller is said to be Key Systems, a German company.
